The CDCA in Nicaragua is so grateful for all types of support - here are our current special requests, please share widely!
Nueva Vida Clinic & CDCA in general
Donations of all size to general budget help us pay staff, bills and keep projects going…but here are some special projects that also need your help:
$3,500 for one Family Health Fair: a day when the Nueva Vida Clinic sees 300+ patients – folks who might not otherwise seek health care. Patients not only get exams, diagnosis, and medicine that same day, but also follow-up appointments and referrals to ensure ongoing integral care.
Medicine purchases: without medicines, patients don’t get better! Monthly the Nueva Vida Clinic spends $500 per day throughout the year to ensure our patients’ health. More details here.
$150/year/student to support 80 Lobas and Leones at-risk youth programs
$50/month/30 health promoters who support 9,000 patients a year
$35/month/patient to support chronic care patients, including their prescibed medicines
$12/year/child to provide dental care for students including cleanings every 6 months and repairs/extractions
Other Ways to Help
Purchase coffee for yourself or as a gift from Farmer Shares to support El Porvenir Co-op.
Purchase coffee to sell as a fundraiser! We’ll send you 50 lbs or more at rock-bottom prices so you can sell to your church, friends, neighbors or civic group to raise money. Write info@farmershares. com for more information.
